High Achievers
At St Peter’s Catholic College, we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students and their commitment to excellence across a diverse range of academic, creative and vocational pathways. Each year, our High Achievers are recognised for their dedication, perseverance and pursuit of personal bests throughout their HSC journey. These students embody our College commitment to excellence and serve as an inspiration to future generations of St Peter’s students.
Consistent excellence is a hallmark of a St Peter’s education. Our students have achieved ATARs of 96 and above for three consecutive years, demonstrating a sustained culture of high achievement and academic success. Combined with impressive HSC Merit List results and prestigious NESA showcase selections, these achievements highlight the strength of our teaching, the commitment of our students and the breadth of opportunities available at St Peter’s Catholic College.
2025 HSC Results
The Class of 2025 delivered exceptional results across a range of academic and creative disciplines, continuing St Peter’s proud tradition of achievement.
Our highest ATAR for 2025 was achieved by Louella J, who earned an outstanding ATAR of 97.5, placing her among the highest-performing students in the state. A second student, who has chosen to remain anonymous, achieved an impressive ATAR of 91.65. We congratulate both students on their remarkable accomplishments and dedication to their studies.
St Peter’s students were also recognised on the NESA HSC Merit List, with 19 students achieving Band 6 results across a range of subjects. These results reflect not only the hard work and resilience of our students, but also the expertise and commitment of their teachers.
Our students also excelled in the creative arts, receiving prestigious state-level recognition for their outstanding major works and performances. Grace V was nominated for inclusion in Encore, NESA’s showcase of the finest HSC Music performances from across New South Wales.
In Visual Arts, Emmaline A, Charlotte F and Maya H each had their major works nominated for ARTEXPRESS and were subsequently selected by NESA for exhibition in galleries across New South Wales during 2026. Selection for ARTEXPRESS is a significant achievement and recognises the highest standard of artistic excellence amongst HSC Visual Arts students.
We congratulate all members of the Class of 2025 for their achievements and thank the dedicated staff, families and supporters who contributed to their success.
2024 HSC Results
Our 2024 HSC High Achievers included students from the graduating cohort who met one or more of the following criteria: achieving one of the College’s Top 10 ATARs, being recognised as an HSC Distinguished Achiever (Band 6 result), placing First in Diocese for a subject, receiving nominations for major practical works and performances, or earning the prestigious title of College DUX.
Our coveted College DUX for 2024 was awarded to former College Captain Zane M, who achieved an exceptional ATAR of 96.9. Zane’s outstanding result was closely followed by Trenton C with an ATAR of 96.65, and Krish S with an ATAR of 96.3. Impressively, all three students received offers into the same degree program, undertaking a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies.
Beyond these remarkable ATAR achievements, our 2024 High Achievers earned a wide range of university offers, tertiary college placements and employment opportunities, reflecting the breadth of talent and ambition within the graduating cohort. Their success is a testament not only to their hard work and perseverance, but also to the strong support provided by families, teachers and the wider College community.
We congratulate these outstanding alumni for the example they have set and wish them every success as they embark on the next chapter of their educational and professional journeys. Their achievements continue to inspire future generations of St Peter’s students to strive for excellence and to truly Live the Faith.
Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence with our St Peter’s Alumni
In a celebration of a quarter-century of excellence, at the heart of this commemoration lay an extraordinary opportunity for our current students – a captivating symposium featuring seven distinguished keynote speakers, each a luminary in their field.
With Year 10, 11, and 12 students as eager participants, our illustrious speakers illuminated the path ahead, drawing from their own journeys since graduating. From groundbreaking entrepreneur and founder of Daily Dough Co – Emma Peat, Federal Member of Dobell – Hon. MP Emma McBride MP, Doctor – Dr Keiren Johnston, Barrister – Samantha McKensey, Ex NRL star – Josh Mantellato, Executive Podcast Producer for Nova 100 Entertainment – Rachel Hart and Broadcast Systems Architect – Will Todd each keynote offered a unique perspective, steeped in wisdom, experience, and enduring spirit.
Through their compelling narratives and invaluable insights, our speakers ignited flames of ambition, stoked the fires of curiosity, and sparked the imagination of the next generation.
As our alumni shared their triumphs, challenges, and lessons learned, they forged powerful connections with the students, bridging the past with the present and illuminating the possibilities of the future.
The 25th Anniversary Alumni Celebration stood as a testament to the transformative power of education, mentorship, and community. With hearts inspired and minds enriched, we look forward to the next 25 years of innovation, excellence, and boundless opportunity, knowing that the legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives of generations to come.
Catholic Woman’s League Scholarship
We are proud to announce Year 11 student Ashlee as the St Peter’s recipient of the Catholic Woman’s League Scholarship for 2024/2025. This scholarship provides $2000 to a female senior student who has demonstrated commitment to studies in addition to support of St Peter’s Youth Ministry team and their social justice activities.
