Today our College community came together in a prayerful and reflective Ash Wednesday liturgy as we began the season of Lent. Receiving the ashes reminded us of humility, renewal, and our call to grow in faith and compassion.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped create such a meaningful start to Lent.

This day also marks the start of our College community working together for a charity close to all our hearts, Caritas ‘Project Compassion’.

May we enter this season with openness, generosity, intention, and a spirit of hope ✝️

INVITATION // INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATIO INVITATION // INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION 🌸 “She Blooms – Give to Gain"

We warmly invite our parents, carers and grandparents to join us for a very special morning as we celebrate International Women’s Day.

Why not gather a group, invite someone special, or simply take some well deserved time for yourself? This is your chance to pause, recharge, and enjoy a morning that’s all about honouring the women in our lives - including you.

This year’s theme, “She Blooms – Give to Gain,” reminds us that when we give ourselves the time to connect with others, what we gain is truly immeasurable.

We are delighted to welcome guest speaker Virginia Ryan, who will share her wisdom, experiences, and encouragement to uplift and inspire.

Enjoy a beautiful High Tea, then settle in for a fun and relaxing flower crown workshop, where we’ll each create our own crown to celebrate the strength and beauty within.

Date: Friday 6th March
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Location: St Peter’s Catholic College 23 Gavenlock Road, Tuggerah, (please sign in at Reception)
Cost: $25 All materials and High Tea are provided, (please feel free to bring a sharp pair of scissors if you have some).

We join schools around the world to celebrate Safer Internet Day today — a reminder that together, we can help our students build safer, smarter and kinder online communities.

At St Peter's, we’re committed to helping young people develop positive digital habits so they can learn, play, socialise and explore online with confidence.

This year’s message is simple:
✨ Small actions make a big difference.
Whether it’s starting a conversation, setting a new family habit, or sharing a helpful tip, every step helps create a safer and more positive online space for our kids.

Australia’s eSafety Commissioner leads this global day of action, bringing together families, schools and communities from over 180 countries to raise awareness and build safer digital spaces for everyone.

Let’s empower young people to be confident and safe online.
